"The top award, the gold Plaquette, went to Sue. She started shooting in 1970, became a Master Bowman, helped to found Long Mynd Archers and, on behalf of Archery GB, runs the World Archery Feathers and Arrow Awards, which benefit the sport at grassroots level. She was the Junior National Squad administrator, is Shropshire's County Coaching Organiser and achieved one of her many aims by having a coach in every club in the county. She has also run the European Championships, the Europa Cup, the Junior European Championships, the Junior World Championships, the World Indoor Championships and took charge of the practice field at the 2012 Olympics."
