The County is in desperate need of a Welfare Officer to join the Committee. Please consider volunteering for this role.
The County Welfare Officer, supported by the Committee, has primary responsibility for safeguarding children, young people, and adults at risk at county level. The role involves providing guidance to local clubs, promoting good safeguarding practice in the area, and managing reports of concerns appropriately.
The County is also after a new Vice Chair, so if Welfare Officer is not for you then please consider this role instead.
Being a member of the SAS Committee gives great insight and knowledge on what is going on in the County and allows you to have your say in how things are run.
